Sorry, for the previous post. Here it is in the correct format (I hope).

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: In the next 30 days

BUDGET RANGE: under $900 before rebates

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: gaming, movies

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg

PARTS PREFERENCES: well-built components

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1080

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
1) One bench mark for me is CoD World at War. Would this thing be able to run it on max?
2) How would it do on games like FC2?
3) I have a small room so hoping for something that won't raise the temperature or be too loud.

I would not build a new system around EOL parts. The LGA 775 chips and DDR2 RAM will be replaced soon. You can easily build a Crossfire ready system around modern technology in your price range.

You also should not use an IDE DVD burner. IDE should have been discontinued a long time ago. SATA is the only way to go for a new build.

Editing your post to follow the format in the "How to ask for new build advice" sticky at the top of the forum will help us optimize your build.

^+1. Maybe drop down to a 650W EA or TX PSU, it would still allow for future crossfire and save you a few bucks. You could get some lower latency RAM, but that set is a steal with the MIR. And maybe the Illusion as well?

Edit: Regarding your question about maxing games out, what is your resolution?
