I don't get it,you mean what are the advantages of having a 6-core AMD CPU with 4GB RAM and 2 9800GTs ? if so then that's a great rig and will perform well in both games and apps.

i guess the question is more motherboard related than cpu. i bought the motherboard yesterday because i couldn't find anything else that can support the ddr2 rams that i already have along with the video cards that i also already own.

The X6 bios update for that board was in march, so the board your getting will likely need a flash before the X6 will work properly.
Other than that, no reason NOT to get the X6. Its a great processor and that is a great board. In fact, the X6 are the fastest CPU to support DD2.
