Seagate hard drive not openinig

Hello,
My seagate hard drive wont install when i connect it to my comp. it was working fine all this week what could it be.

a bad file system. check and see if its in device manager, if it is then go to your computer management window and disk management then look for a raw or unformatted drive. let us know what you find.

can you hear the drive spinning up? do you hear any clicking coming from the drive?
