I am not able to access internet

I have alpla wirless driver installed in the computer windos 2000 professional. networks are avialble but internet does not work.

should i use the AP mode because the LAN mode says local area network unpluged.

Please help me in this.

The LAN Mode will only be connected if you have a cable connection to your router.

First go to CMD and run IPCONFIG /all this will give you the default gateway to your router, typically 192.168.1.1.

If you can't see the router but you have networks available then WINSOCKFIX might solve your problem.
