I bought a mounting kit, but the screws for my Antec 900 aren't long enough to go into the screw hole. Can I just Velcro or double side tape it to somewhere in the case?

Here is the BEST way to mount an ssd drive into the Antec 900 case.

The fact is, the Antec drive mounts need a particular screw, and that screw is too big in diameter.

I've heard people talk about "an ssd mounting spot in the bottom of the case". Im not sure what model they are talking about. I went over my case with an electron microscope. There is no mounting spot or holes. Period.

Do NOT call Antec, do not buy anther Antec bracket, do not go to Fry's, do not go to any computer stores. You can buy 50 different 2.5 to 3.5, or 3.5 to 5.5 brackets, and still, they will not work.

Heres what you do.

1. Go to any hardware store
2. Bring one of the Antec mounting screws. Its 6-32 in size
3. Buy a thread tap. Its about 3-5 dollars.
4. Re tap your bracket to 6-32 by screwing the thread tap carefully and perpendicularly into the hole. (use a tap and die handle, hand force is all you need, or use any sort of device that will hold the hex end of the tap)
5. Done.
