I just got the 5850, and was wondering what all I can use the HDMI port for?
Right now, I would just like to be able to use it with my directv. Is there software I can download that can use the HDMI port and let me use the output from my directv reciever and let me see it through the hdmi port and into my monitor?
I have HDMI on my monitor also, but I thought if I could use it through the graphics card then I would be able to have it windowed and watch directv while also using my computer at the same time.
right now if i use the monitor hook up then I have to switch outputs and can't use the computer...
halp me?
