Power calibration error

Hy!I can burn any kind of dvd but i can't burn any cd's because i get this error: power calibration error!What should i do?

Personally Ill throw that POS dvd writer out the windows, migrate everything to hdd for storage, use thumb drive for bootable operations, and if it was to be used with music player, Ill ditch the player and substitute with ipod/laptop.
