I have a 300w PSU, but the thing is i have [b]2[/b] 12volt rails with 18 amps.

What do you do with your system? What resolution are you running? What brand is the PSU? The 2 rails are each rated to support up to 18 amps, however if you are putting a load on both of them you cant get anywhere near that much power out of them. Rails are not additive like they seem they should be unfortunately.

Im running at a 1920xsomething resolution unfortunately, Im not looking to game at that resolution though. Mabye around 1440 res. My bran PSU I actually dont know myself,my computer is a Gateway GT5670 if that helps.
