Can i add it 2 more of those drives at a later date (possibly 3 months later) and set them up as a raid 1 for better data security?

Solution Dereck47 Sep 26, 2011 Yes you can, but when you create your new RAID-1 array all data on the 2 drives previously used on your RAID-0 array will be deleted. So backup any needed data before creating the RAID-1.
