Hydrogen/Preoxyde USP 3%

Hey, I couldn't find any rubbing alcohol to remove some thermal paste from the heatsink and CPU. I only solution I could find though was "Hydrogen/Preoxyde USP %3" would that be "effective" at removing thermal paste with a Q-tip?

No, if you can't find any high content alcohol, just use lint free cotton/linen cloth and Q-tips, alcohol just makes it easier is all

Bingo. Thanks, I think I might has well scrub the fudge out the them both with a cloth and a couple of Q-Tips.

Additionally Hydrogen Peroxide just might not get along well with the chemical composition of some TIMs, there are some chemicals if you mix with hydrogen peroxide will give you more than you bargained for.

Just a poser of a possible possibility?
