The answer is easy, the HD 4650 or the hd 4670, both of them do not require extra power and get all the power from the pci express slot, they come in 515 mb and 1 gb flavours and are good all around cards for different purposes as amatter of fact the hd 4670 is the most powerful reference card you can get that does not need an extra power connection, while the 4650 is a great and cheap solution for most people
im a bit confused....u want to buy a new card without having to invest in a new PSU right??....for native HDMI and 1gig memory u can buy a ATI 5770.....if u may specify ur system specs that may help even better to choose.....

how is that confusing? and system specs dont matter much just need the best you can get without needing extra power.oh and the 5770 requires a 4 or 6 pin adapter so that wont work

Just to add the the reply from Rooseveltdon: Newegg also lists 'low power' 9800GT cards that might suit your requirements, go over and take a look if you are keen on Nvidia, but I'm certain the HD4670 is the best available without a PSU upgrade.
BTW which PSU is it? You might be able to get more performance from a higher specced card like the HD4770 or HD5750, neither will draw much from an extra power connector and you could use a molex/PCI-E converter in this case rather than a dedicated PCI-E connector.
forgot about those good choice! and I need to look at her power supply for sure. I have a 680 watt antech one but thats going in my pc but waiting on my gtx 250 card to get back before I put it in.
