First it was the UTF-8 problem, where accented characters were being
encoded in UTF-8 but being displayed as two ISO_8859-1 characters.
That problem appears to have gone away, but has been replaced by a more
noticeable problem. All the apostrophes in the show descriptions have
been replace with damnable "smart quotes", but the font used in Series-1
TiVos doesn't display that.
What I'm seeing (with version 3.0-01-1-000 software) is:
| ABC FALL PREVIEW
| ABC[]s new comedy HOT PROPERTIES
| Friends; they[]ll make you laugh, they[]ll make you
cry[]they[]ll keep you company on Friday night. Check out this fabulous
four-some on ABC[]s new Friday comedy.

This problem isn't new. I remember seeing it a long time ago. I really
am amazed that they could let a problem this simple go through.
