Function key not working

my system samsung np rv 409 operating system xp , my trouble is function key + top down and right and left (display and volume )is not working ,its very bad contrasting ang briteness now, how can solv this problem

What operating system did that come with originally?

It sounds like you still need to install the special Samsung driver to support those hot keys.
