APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: In a week hopefully.

BUDGET RANGE: 500-600 dollars. With operating system. Maybe windows 7???

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Music production (Sonar 8 software), internet, school related things, Very little gaming. Halo 1 and age of empires 3 are bout it for me

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: (keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers.)

PARTS PREFERENCES: i like amd either 2, 3, or 4 cores. Whatever fits the budget

OVERCLOCKING: NO

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1680x1050

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: quiet, efficient computer. I would like 2 hdd, but i don't think my budget will allow that. I think on board graphics will do me justice. Thank you in advance

thats a great build i am very pleased with it

quick question, what about using a Phenom X3 720? ive read those are very good for the price even tho they are defective quads
