ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: DO I NEED A NEW CHASSIS COOLER MASTER SCOUT? BECAUSE I CURRENTLY HAVE A COOLER MASTER CENTURION 534 ADVICE NEEDED,
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE
On a side note, isn't it a bit odd to get a state of the art CPU and a mediocre GPU? At any rate, I'd buy a DirectX11 card, in order to be more futureproof, and I'd seriously consider getting an AMD 955 with an AM3 motherboard and spend the money saved on a better graphics card. Especially with that monitor resolution, you're gonna get a lot more juice from a better GPU than you'd get from a better CPU (and btw, the 955 is a great gaming CPU)
If you ever plan to upgrade to SLI/crossfire I'd stick with the 750W PSU. 650W would just about do it, but your PSU is the one area where spending a bit more than you need to really isn't a bad thing, especially when overclocking. You can't go wrong with that Corsair unit.
Also, if you think you might ever go SLI that motherboard might not be the best choice, you'd be better off with the GA-P55-UD4, better features and not much more money.

By "juice" do you mean gaming performance. if so that really depends on the game. Some games are CPU bounded, while others are GPU bounded
i5 750 beats 955 hands down, no point of an amd build with your budget(assuming med-high budget because of your parts)
you omitted the sli/crossfire question, do you want the ability to crossfire/sli in the future?
funny you are getting a weak mobo with 750W psu..ud3p supports only x16 x4..which is not good crossfire. so if you plan on crossifiring in future, then get ud4p, if you don't plan on it then get a lower power supply.

Thanks for all the replies.
AMD or i5? I will stick to the Intel i5 as all my builds are Intel based.
PSU 750W or 650W? I might go for the 650W, but i will be doing overclocking, and adding some additional fans. So, i'm not sure yet.
Casing new or old? Better GPU? I'll use back my old casing, save that money, and get a better GPU, Gigabyte GTX275(SO) 896MB DR3

Even CPU bound games will do with an AMD 955, but few GPU bound games will do with the card suggested in the first post.

Are these changes okay?
ThankYou in advance.
A GTX 275 doesn't support DirectX11 and performs far worse than the 5850. If you don't want to wait till they come back in stock though, go for it.
I would check your dimensions of your current case. The 5870 is a big card and may have difficulty fitting into the case.
I would stay with the Corsair 750TX and drop down to the ATI 5850. This gives you still very good graphics power and the ability to Crossfire without worry of needing upgrading your PSU down the road.

I just bought my computer.
I got the ATI 5870, it suits my casing.
Was very happy with it,
but i made a silly mistake.
I bought GTA IV to play, in order to run GTA IV, i need to have XP SP3 installed.
But after installing the SP3, my computer lags lags lags, very lag.
Anyone have any idea to cure this problemo?
