Economical SSD solutions? For Boot + Games? Tags: SSD Hard Drives Storage Last response: September 29, 2011 11:45 PM in Storage Share coffeecoffee September 28, 2011 5:07:49 AM Hello, I currently have a 500GB Samsung Spinpoint HDD and was wondering if it's a good economical idea to buy two 60GB OCZ Agility 3. I do not plan to run them in Raid 0. SSD #1 I plan to use solely as a Boot drive + minor applications (Norton, MSN, Skype, Vent, etc etc) SSD #2 Solely for steam games. HDD #1 For my movies, music, etc. Does this sound like a solid idea? or are there other factors I should consider???? Also, are there any special precautions I should take when installing windows on SSDs??? Thanks for reading. Another option would be to use Intel's Smart Response Technology (aka SRT) that is in their Z68 chipset.
