try safe mode or boot from windows CD and repair the OS.

My upstairs neighbour is right, but if that doesn't work, you can also use recovery console.
2.Disable automatic restart. Any error message?
3.Boot from cd , press R
Welcome to recovery console!
Press 1 , press Enter (or enter your password)
Do a Chkdsk, fixboot, etc.

If could also be a fan related issue. Can you check the temperature at least in the bios?
