This is probably a dumb question but I'll ask anyways, is there any mobo that supports am3 cpu types like the new amd x6 1055t and can use nvidia cards? Could that new Crosshair IV support sli or is it just cfx?

More about : mobo

Any of them will do, but not for SLI.

For that you may look at this:

To me its not worth it, but any AM3 board should have PCI-E 2.0 X16. So it will accept one nvidia card. You need to make sure the board can handle the power requirements of the hexacores. I would look at the 870, 880, and 890 chipset boards.
