Bas PSU or Bad Video Card?

Was on a game tonight computer shuts down completely. Well I immediately know not a good sign so I check my parts my video card is extremely hot. So I let it cool down checked the fun and plugged it back in and nothing powers. Once I take card out computer booted up.
So I believe my video card friend and is shorting my computer but I was wanting to know other opinions before i go buy a new card.
