I've just bought a Dell machine which has Sonic and Roxio software to handle
DVD and CD operations. I have just installed the Nero 6 programs. How do I
make them the Windows default programs please?

Nero should have an option that does this.

However, if you're just looking to make Nero the default program that comes
up when you insert a blank CD, try the following:
- click Start
- click My Computer
- right-click your CD drive and go to Properties
- click the AutoPlay tab
- in the first drop-down box, select "Blank CD"
- then select the appropriate program (Nero)
