I am trying to figure out how to get transfer time. I have the file size and transfer rate but I don't know how to figure out the transfer time
Example: File Size 100MB, Transfer Rate:56Kbps what would the transfer time be?. Or File Size 100MB, Transfer Rate 4Mbps what would the Transfer time be and how do I get the Transfer time?.

Welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums!

You can divide the file size into the transfer rate. But unfortunately the transfer rate varies. Therefore you really need to know the average transfer rate in order to get a realistic transfer time. Observe the transfer for some time and you should be able to figure out the approximate time. The transfer rate is not constant and is not linear.
