I did a lot of research into finding just the right NAS that supports RAID 1 and will accept 2TB drives. I finally found the ReadyNAS NV+. I then came to find out that the Western Digital RE4 2TB dives that I want are not "supported" drives (even though the 1TB is). What the heck? Why? The technician couldn't answer my question other than to say that if it's not on the list of supported drives, I shouldn't use it.

Do any NAS systems support the WD RE4 2TB drives? I am a WD fan, and the Caviar series are not good with RAID I guess.

What are some other good 2TB drives besides WD?

What are some good brands/models of NAS?
