Problem is your video card, not your CPU.

Minimum requirements for Battlefield 3

Graphic card: DirectX 10 or 11 compatible Nvidia or AMD ATI card, ATI Radeon 3870 or higher, Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT or higher.
Graphics card memory: 512 MB
Sound card: DirectX compatibl sound card
Hard drive: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version
Recommended system requirements for Battlefield 3
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPU
RAM: 4GB
Graphics card: DirectX 11 Nvidia or AMD ATI card, Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 or ATI Radeon 6950.
Graphics card memory: 1 GB

Don't get confused- an AMD/ATI 4350 is not really 'greater' than the minimum requirement of a 3870. The 'number size' doesn't mean it's a better card. A 4350 is an entry level card in the 4000 series; a 3870 is mid-range card for 3000 series of cards. Someone with more AMD/ATI knowledge can help discuss (I'm an nVidia guy, but the same concept applies).

yeah the 17 fps is your gpu's doing. so whats your game settings at 17fps and whats your desired performance? at the minimum a 6670 with low preset but the lowest id recommend is a 6770 7750

+1, OC your CPU will not help you. It just might make your gameing matters worse. Are you playing BF3 online?
