I am thinking of buying a new computer. It comes with a 210 GT card. I have a GeForce 9600 Gt in my old computer. Would it be wise to swap out the 210 and use the 9600 GT?

Yes.

The 210 GT has roughly 9400 GT performance.

Thanks for the information. Also would the big difference in the 200 cards be the HDMI plug? I noticed that the GeForce are DVI, and the 200 cards are DVI and HDMI.

HDMI = Carries both DVI video signal and audio signal (for nvidia cards must be cabled to sound card or integrated sound)
