Anyone foresee any problems, or any suggestions ?
Preferably, I'd like to order all parts from the same website, for simplicity sake, even if I end up paying a little more.
My old computer is an AMD Athlom X2 4200 2.21GHz, Asus A8N-Sly deluxe, 2GB ram, XP pro

P.S. by the way... what's with the O.E.M. hard drive ? makes any difference ? :hello:

Throw out that HDD, that model was plagued with problems.
SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD502HJ 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal

Only get 6gb RAM, that's more than enough.
G.SKILL 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Triple Channel Kit Desktop

Then get a reliable PSU
CORSAIR CMPSU-550VX 550W ATX12V V2.2 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7

If you have any questions, just ask.

Hmmm, personally I would go with an AMD system ,if gaming is your primary usage, cheaper and has built in virtualization, most of the current AMD capable boards have a nice upgrade path..:)

The intel ssd ? or the seagate that I already have and therefore doesn't cost me anything ?

Eventually, if I decide to go crossfire or start overclocking, I will change my PS, but for now, is mine good enough... since I already have it

if i were you dont get 12gb RAM, i got 6gb and it is fairly enough. i mean you wont need 12gb. and your paying way too much for your 80gb hdd

The Seagate.

No, you wont be sorry about dropping half the RAM, but you will be sorry when your bad HDD crashes or your weak PSU fails.

Not really, but ok. Also, my recommendation had nothing to do with how many watts the label says it can supply.
