After I did the upgrade to Service Pack 2, my mouse frequently freezes when
I am in Photoshop 7. Is there a way to return to Service Pack 1?

Thanks, CMA

Try uninstall / reinstall the mouse driver. Go to the mouse
manufacturer's web site and look for an update driver. If you really
want to uninstall SP2 here is a link:

Have you tried updating the mouse drivers from the manufacturers website?
