OK im using a custom case,600W PSU,ASUS HDMI LGA 775 MOBO with onboard sound and video(Nv Geforce 9300),Intel 3.16 ghz CPU,Corsair x2 2GB DDR2 Ram,Hitatchi 750gb HDD,and Sony CD/DVD drive. I'm about 100% positive I connected everything right because I followed the motherboards manual. I have all the PSU connectors in,a 24 pin ATX and a ATX12 in the upper left corner. The SATA cables are in the CD and HDD and the 4 pin R,Y,B cables running from the PSU and fans are all connected except for 2 small 4-pins that have no open slots for. I plug in the computer and the fans start and the green power light on the motherboard starts up and I hear what seems to be the HDD and CD boot but the monitor hooked up with VGA shows no picture. It just bounces around with No Input Signal and then goes into sleep mode. Any help please?

I can't install anything until my monitor problem is fixed.

how about try on a diff monitor or the vga cable is broken?

I've tried different VGA cables and even the HDMI output. My very tech advanced friend said it might be the PSU because it lets out a sort of burnt plastic smell at startup and its not a well-known brand. I called the company asking for a replacement.
