I recently bought a new computer and while everything else works flawlessly, I can't get my speakers to work with it. The driver is realtek audio and is being managed with Realtek HD Audio, through which I can get headphones to work and very simple speakers like my laptop portable speakers, but my boston 4.1 speakers don't do anything.
With past setups I have just plugged the one cord from the subwoofer which controls the other speakers into the digital out on my old soundblaster card, but I can neither find a digital out nor does any of the 6 places that I can plug in work.
Any thoughts as to what I'm doing wrong would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
