hii, my xp machine get booting and its going to safe mode , i e cant access my dirve even through command prompt. please help me atleast i want to get my words file ,

Re-boot the computer, tap the F8 key while your BIOS loads, and before WinXP boots - choose "Safe" mode. If the OS boots, you should be able to access your HDD. If not, you may need to physically remove the drive and install it into another computer or into an external enclosure or USB adapter to gain access to your files. If these efforts still fail, the MBR may be corrupt (in an NTFS file system), or you may have a physical disk failure. If you think the MBR is corrupted, google "repair mbr xp" for leads.
