What will I need to support two monitors on a HP Pavilion a250n
Video or/and Graphics card?

according to what I've found that model uses an AGP nVidia Geforce4 MX 440 card. How many video connectors are on the back of your PC? If there is only one, you will need a replacement card that has dual outputs. That should be all you need.
