Remembering all the stress I have had with teaching the toddlers basic
life skills while keeping at least one job in the family, I decided it
could not hurt to try the aspiration reward, the gizmo that makes smart
milk for your toddler. So, making sure all involved had a decent
aspiration rating (gold for the mother, platina for the toddler) I gave
the little girl smart milk instead of the usual sort from the fridge.
It sure worked wonders. But ... even after the glow faded, some of the
effect seems to remain. The little girl was potty-trained after the next
sitting. She went on to rack up 8 charisma points with the talking bunny
before she became a school girl some hours early. Before the weekend was
over she had five points in cooking. When she graduated to teenager (one
day early) she had just maxed out logic simply by playing chess
occasionally. She was not the type that would sit and study all day, she
just picked up skills with double speed all through her childhood. Now as
a teen she is maxing out skill after skill; I suspect she will have maxed
them all before she is grown up, while her parents (both knowledge sims)
are struggling to get theirs, after having spent weeks with aging off
before she was born.
I blame it all on the milk, but I guess it doesn't hurt that she spent
most of her childhood in platinum mode either. ^_^
