I have 1.0, which I think is the same as 1.1

I know performance difference between 1.1 and 2.0 is minor, but if I play 1650x1050 on my games, and I want AA on, should I get new mobo?
(4850 1GB in use)

You don't need a new mobo. Even a 4870 doesn't saturate a PCI-E 1.0 slot.
