i have ddr2 compaq sg 3770il
i wish to add a 9800gt wiil it fit in my pc
bcoz 9800gt is ddr3

It will fit. It doesn't matter that your system memory is DDR2 and the videocard memory is DDR3.

However, you might have a problem with the PSU if it doesn't have the extra power for the 9800 GT.

Recommended PSU requirement for 9800GT is 450Watt with 6 Pin PCI-e Power connector. You have to buy one if you don't have already.
