NEWEGG will be my site to buy.
This will be minus the hard drives since I will be getting 2 750 gb drives from my last CPU build.
I maybe overclocking.
I will be using Sony Vegas Pro 9 and After effects as my VE programs.

check the build here http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/foru [...] _13_0.html by jbakerlent, you dont need the hd. as a possible base computer, consider droping to x2 550 to get a better gpu than the one on board. then if you can, try to unlock the hidden cores. you may get lucky.
I think you must add another 50$ for a more decent build

Before moving off the AMD X4 620 listed in the link cited above to the x2 550, you might want to review this review that includes comparisons of the two. Note that the X4 620 does much better in multi-threaded apps like Adobe Primier.

Also note that the link was for a video editing only system. With gaming, you should definitely get a better graphics card and consequently a larger PSU.

Here is a complete build that includes the same x4 620 CPU, Gigabyte mobo, and memory as listed on the link site - but other components are different - that totals $526 After rebates and before shipping and taxes - and without whatever OS you choose.

for the same gpu price, you can get a xfx ati4870 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814150441

I prefer the GTS 250 because of CUDA - which I think is going to become a bigger benefit over time, but the 4870 does generally beat the 250 on gaming stats and the 4870 is the THG Video Buyers Guide choice as well.
