Is it safe to leave a speed for too long (without stress testing)?
I have a 2600K, I followed the tutorial on this site.. I changed the listed settings and changed the ratio to 43 = 4.3GHz without changing any voltages. I was wondering if I could keep the settings for a couple of days before stress testing - is that okay for the CPU? (I know there may be crashes and stuff but I'm worried if it's bad for the computer to have an unstable CPU speed).
Personally I think 4.3GHz is fine w/o changing any voltages, since the tutorial even says: 4.3GHz - 4.7GHz
What do you guys think?
Thanks.
Btw.. this is my CPUID:
