Hi Guys,

I'm about to make a purchase, but I'm not sure which to get. The Nvidia gts 250 I'm thinking of getting costs between $109-$149 depending on which brand I buy. (btw, is Elite group a good company?)

Then theres the HD4850 which costs between $114.00 and $147.00

Based on my system specs, which card is better for me?

I have an Intel E5200 dual core with 4 gigs of ram and Windows Vista 32bit. I currently have an Nvidia 9500gt.

I have also considered a 4870, but would that be good for me since my system specs are so low? I know the GTS 250 is the same as the 9800GTX. I chose the GTS 250 because sites seem to sell that cheaper than a 9800gtx.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Well is $150 is your budget, you have apparently three "winners" to choose from:

4870, 260 and 5770

If you chnage GFXcrads, often, and say will be replacing this card in 2 years or less, I'd say go for the the 260 and it's better numbers. The 5770 can't quite get the numbers, but it's DX11 compliant which means it has "some legs" in 20011 and beyond.
