I just recently hooked up my computer to my 42" 1080p Sanyo HDTV and every time I play a movie fullscreen in VLC the video will just flash on and off. I have a 9800 GTX+ GPU and DVI to HDMI is the connection. Anybody ever experience this or having any suggestions on how i coulld possibly fix this?

For starters, I would try another media player or two to see if the problem is still there. If it is, it's probably a driver issue. If it isn't, it's probably a software/codec issue.
