What games at what res

Reply to wsupduck

as a benchmark, i was told "call of duty moden warfare 2" with a res. of 1920 x 1080 OR 1600x900. Just assume worst case scenario, and say it's 1920 x 1080

Ok just be sure that your psu will be able to support your system and you are good

so no changes required?

ok, let see:
cpu: e7500 at 146$ vs phenom II x2 720 at 145$, PII owns the e7500, it has more cores and is future proof (775 socket is dead, you cannot upgrade from that, am3 is th latest our of amd.) https://store.9289.com.au/index.php [...] ts_id=4478
mb: Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3L at 117$ vs. Gigabyte GA-MA785GT-UD3H, AM3, the intel mb is great but still it is a dead socket. that amd mb is better and future proof.
https://store.9289.com.au/index.php [...] ts_id=3862
memory: faster and more compatible ram https://store.9289.com.au/index.php [...] ts_id=3926
the rest is ok

Ok, ive made a few revisions. Btw, the RAM goes at 1600mhz but the mobo supports 1333mhz without overclocking. that means the ram will default down to 1333 mhz, right? how much will that impact performance?

Reply to obsidian86

just buy lower clocked ram then

Reply to wsupduck

how much would that impact performance? 1600 vs 1333 mhz?

Reply to howdoweplaythis

in the board specs it states that it can infact support up to 1800 mhz ram

Reply to obsidian86

1600 vs 1333 performance wont change much, check the clock times on the ram when you are buying, that is the main test.

lower clock times=faster data acess
