I have one of the new Asus Crosshair IV Formula motherboards, and when I am stress testing I get different temp reading, and I am wondering which program I should trust.

the 2 Asus programs show me idle in the mid-high 20s (Asus Probeit and Ai Suite), 100% load low 50s (same idle temps as BIOS)

AMD overdrive, core temp, and HWmonitor all say idle between 17-19 (right around current room temp) 100% load mid 40s

I am running AMD Phenom II X6 @ 4Ghz (20.0x multiplier) and I am using a Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme, I am using a Lancool PC-K62.

I want to believe the lower temps, but I need to know what to believe.

AMD overdrive shows more temps, it shows the temp of each core and ofthe CPU.
The CPU temp is the same value as the CPU temp in the Asus Probe II utility.

under amd overdrive stability test, CPU = 47C, each core = 39C. which do I go by. the max temp for this unit is 62C, is that for each core, or for the CPU temp.
