Does anyone know of a chart or list showing which of the modern cards can Crossfire effectively with the ATI Radeon HD-4830? Thank you.

You can not crossfire between series of cards. So only 4xxx's can crossfire with 4xxx's. Likewise with the 5xxx series.

i know that a 4770/4830/4850 is possible with a 4830

Thank you. I was aware of that chart, but was wondering if it is possible to Crossfire a 4830 with any of the newer 5xxx series? Sorry for not being clearer earlier.

You can not crossfire between series of cards. So only 4xxx's can crossfire with 4xxx's. Likewise with the 5xxx series.

As jay said,you can't crossfire 4830 with 5xxx series,they must be from the same family
