Did you mean the 6850? 6790 stock is 840mhz.

Anyway, please list the steps you've tries so we can figure out what you can try, what might have gone wrong, ect. Have you looked at using MSI afterburner? Personally the 6790 for me is a pain to OC since MSI won't unlock voltages...

Could you provide any screen shots or more info regarding the build settings ect.

tried updating vidro bios from xfx...not good calling it a nite thanks
