Hi,
So I recently found out about bottlenecking and I was wondering if my PC is being bottlenecked.

This is my hardware:
Intel i7 860 @ 2.80 GHz
Nvidia GTS 450 1 GB
10GB 1333 MHz RAM
Win 7
1 TB SATA HDD

I get around 40 fps on Battlefield Bad Company 2 max settings and 30 fps on StarCraft 2 max settings.

So am I being bottlenecked and would overclocking anything make it better?

I don't think bottlenecking is your problem. Your low framerate is probably being caused by Vertical Sync settings in your games with your monitors refresh rate. Try disabling Vertical sync in your games and see if that helps.

Will do, thanks.

I'm not that fussed about the framerates. Anything above 30 is good enough for me but if my hardware is being held back then I would just like to know so I know what to upgrade next.

I hope your using 64-bit Windows to utilize all that RAM.
