Help to choose a mobo for core 2 quad

hi friends... i have bought a intel core2 quad 2.66ghz 4mb processor...
and i need help to choose a compatible mobo of any brand for this pro....i already have 2gb ddr2 ram , so decided to use the same...also iam prefering to use my old 9400gt for now and then later upgrade it,.. my budget for mobo is rs.2500.. pleas hhelp... the cost is in indian rupees

You should get down at the shops and ask them.. Look for a motherboard based on the P35 chipset if you can find one in that price range.. The gigabyte GA-EP35-S3G is an excellent buy if you can get one.. Try not to be hesitant to shell out few extra bucks if you can get hold of that motherboard..

Gigabyte P35/P45 boards, any should do and be reliable.

The GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX board should work out real nice for your build. I've had this motherboard for over 6 months and have nothing but good to say about it. The bios options are amazing!!
