So i have a radeon HD 5770 and I want to have it displaying on two monitors and a tv. I have one monitor in the display port using a display port to DVI adapter and the other monitor and TV are both plugged into their own DVI port. However it will only let me have 2 displays at once. I was led to believe I could have all three. Any thoughts?
You can't just use HDMI because that's how it is. I dunno the inner workings of displayport but it has higher bandwidth at least.
There must be a decent reason why, otherwise 3 normal d-sub or dvi screens would be a lot better. I'm waiting on eyefinity too so I understand you must be a bit irritated by this.
There are new lcd's coming soon (displayport) and I'm sure there will be cheaper adaptors soon too.

It's gonna cost you an arm and a leg to get your third monitor up and running.
Radeon should have just included this with there card. How stupid of them to offer it without the adapter.
