The Cav black is a great HDD. Comes with a 5 year warranty. But the Samsung Spinpoint F3 performs a little better for a little less. Only a 3 year warranty. If that's enough, then pick that.

Since the prices are in the same ballpark, I'd advise to shoot for the 5770 over the 4890. Might not perform as great as the 4890 at the 1920x1080, but still very good and being Dx11, will add extra life to the card in the long run.

Are you going to OC? Look for an aftermarket cooler if you are. The Hyper 212 is a good cost effective choice.

really? the samsung is better then the WD? i don't mind about warranty, if it is better i will get that.

I really don't mind about this graphics card because i want a really good graphics card now and that is one of the best of the market. i definately will get a 5.xx series card in the future but i think i will wait until they go down. also there are no dx11 games as of yet so there wont be much use of it yet. thanks though :D

i might overclock but it is not a big deal to me

A big factor in HDD performance is how much capacity each platter has. The samsung uses 2x 500gb platters while the WD uses 3x320. The samsung can read more data in a single pace vs the WD.

OC is a great way to get free performance from you CPU. Pretty easy to do and 3ghz+ on air easy.
