I'm getting ready to build a new gaming box and and surfing case reviews at newegg (where I tend to shop 100% of the time). The Antec 1200 seems to be the most purchased full tower case but frankly, I don't like the way it looks. I prefer plain and simple black cases without a side window. Currently I have an Antec Sonata II which served me well and looks nice.

Any favorite brands for well laid out, well machined cases... either steel or aluminum, around $200?

Its the best case I can find anywhere. It doesn't have any gamer influences other than what it can do. I think you will like it.
