Hi guys! i've been reading articles on tomshardware for a while now and this is the first time that i joined. It has been 7 years since i bought my last PC so now that the phenom X6 has been released, I decided to buy a new one. I bought the Asus crosshair IV formula 2 days back and im ready to buy a Memory module. Could you guys recommend a good memory for this mother board? im thinking of buying the G.skil DDR3 1600 F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL 2gb X 2. Since this is also my first time building a computer i also have a question about starting my new pc with a new memory, would i need to configure the bios to run the memory or would it automatically adjust? thanks

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

Your options isn't good since have CL9.

This G.Skill Ripjaws 4GB (2x2GB) 1600 CL7 is a very good option for u.
