hello everybody, i just purchased a used pc (asus m2n mx se plus motherboard) i was wondering if i would have any problems installing a ddr3 or ddr5 graphics card?? i was thinking of somthing in the $150-$200 range, any suggestions??

No issues whatsoever. Motherboard RAM and graphics card RAM is totally separate.

For graphics cards: Go for the 4890 $180

If you can find those or want something cheaper, get the 4870 or GTX260 ~$150-$160, or a dx11 5770 (performs almost as good as the 4870, but supports dx11)

What resolution will you be using

Yeah, just get an HD4770 or HD4850. Either will be fantastic for that resolution. You should only consider a more expensive card if a new monitor is on the horizon.
