RAID 0 Help

I'm trying to get a fresh install of windows 7 on two new spinpoint F3's set up in raid 0. How do I go about doing this? Do I NEED a raid controller? I tried to do it myself but it automatically sets it up as a dynamic disk, which prevents windows 7 from being installed....am I missing out on some crucial information here?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Most people who do this take advantage of the RAID capabilities built into a lot of motherboards. That's done using the motherboard BIOS configuration before you install the operating system. Check your motherboard manual for instructions.
