I just bought an HIS 4890 1GB graphics card. My old card is a Powercolor HD2600 XT 512MB GDDR3. I've read that crossfireX allows two different models of graphics cards to work together. I have a motherboard with two PCI-e slots. Is there anyway that I can use the HD2600 XT to make my 4890 better? Or is there an ATI version of PhysX?

Solution
You could hold onto it as a spare in case something ever goes wrong (god forbid) with your 4890. A side note, you can only crossfire cards of the same generation.

No sir. The best you can do is try and sell it on eBay or Craigslist, but I am not even sure that's worth it. I'm sure it served you well, you could.. give it a proper burial in the back yard? :pt1cable:
